OUR family was proud to call Scotland home. Four years spent living in this beautiful country created memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. 

The welcome we received made us feel there was a connection between Scotland and Denmark. We felt it in the warmth of the people and in the culture and nature that surrounded us. 

Separated by the North Sea, these two nations may be small in terms of population but they have always been big on ideas and invention. It’s such an important part of their great histories. 

This sense of a bond with Scotland stayed with us long after we had returned to Denmark. And it was right there in our thoughts when we began to discuss creating our family company.  

From the start, we wanted to do something that could celebrate the best of Scottish craft – but with a Scandinavian flavour. 

We were introduced to Lewis Scothern at Distillutions and became fascinated by the idea of creating our very own Dry Gin.  

For our family, it was essential this was a premium product infused with elements from both nations. Something that reflected our own story. 

The Laudrup Dry Gin came into existence through the expertise of Lewis and our passion for the project. Using eleven carefully selected botanicals, we have brought a dash of Denmark to this superior Scottish spirit. Rhubarb, a beloved staple of so many Danish desserts, just had to be included in the special mix of flavours. 

Lovingly distilled in Scotland, with a little Scandinavian style, we feel we have got the balance just right. To us, it is a taste of home from home.
